Remember, Remember the Third Week of November for Gastronomy, Seasoning and Paella Hot

Michelin-starred chefs will be among those showcasing their award-winning food during Valencia's Restaurant Week, taking place from 21-27th November 2011. The event will bring together locals and visitors alike to celebrate the city's gastronomic highlights, as over 82 restaurants offer mouth-watering treats and tremendous discounts. Those choosing to attend will be able to enjoy anything from delicious original paellas, to rustic traditional tapas or world-class Mediterranean cuisine, all with freshly cooked ingredients and at a fraction of regular prices.

The last event in February 2011 was a resounding success and ‘Valencia Cuina Oberta' has seen increasing numbers of visitors and participants since it started. November 2011 is set to be more popular than ever with more culinary delights and activities than ever.

As well as the famous €20 lunch and €30 dinner offers at participating restaurants, there is a central market cooking show by Michelin Starred chef, Raul Aleixandre; (12:00pm on 23rd November) as well as vineyard tours and wine tasting at Bedegas Gandia. Also on offer "Paella Valenciana" and aperitifs at Albufera national park and the Gastronomic tour where attendees learn with the help of Valencia Club Cocina and a world class gastronomy instructor and an enologist, how to cook and serve the best "pinchos" and "tapas" complimented perfectly with Valencia's finest wines.
