Michael Williams
Michael Williams has over 15 years’ experience in marketing to multicultural audiences for a range of clients in finance, beauty, travel, manufacturing and the public sector.
He has created successful PR and advertising campaigns for clients wishing to target African, Caribbean and Asian consumers in the UK, where previous mainstream campaigns had failed to make an impact. Much of that success has been due to his understanding of cultural differences, often perceived as negative or ‘difficult’, and using them to create rapport with audiences.
Michael is a native of Jamaica and has travelled extensively across the island in over 40 visits in the last 25 years. This has allowed him to nurture an extensive list of contacts in travel, finance, legal, property and industrial circles.
In the UK, Michael has worked hard to promote Jamaican clients such as The Gleaner, Victoria Mutual, Grace and Jamaica National, and he is extremely proud of his involvement in Jamaica Expo (1995-98) which he helped to grow from 3,500 visitors to over 20,000 in 4 years.
Michael has also produced campaigns for other well-known international brands, including Thomas Cook, MoneyGram International, Cable & Wireless, Ford Motor Company, the British Army and Luster Products.
Michael currently works with us as a consultant director.
